Learn how to brew Mead (Honey Wine) or Beer.
From the buying supplies to the drinking your brew, these workshop's will teach you how to make successful tastey brews everytime.
Mead
To learn to brew Mead you must attend four classes over a three week period consisting of approximately six hours. This workshop is $60.00
In the first class you will learn about the differnt kinds of Mead and select the one you would like to brew in the workshop. Also we will go over how to choose and prepare all of your equipment. 1 hour
Class number two we will begin brewing your selected Mead and set up the "must" for fermentation. 3 hours
In the third class we will "rack" the mead and check on it's progress. 1 hour
The fourth and final class we will bottle the Mead and learn how to store it propely for aging. 1 hour
Beer
To learn to brew Beer you must attend four classes over a three week period consisting of approximately seven hours. This workshop is $60.00
In the first class you will select the Beer you would like to brew in the workshop. Also we will go over how to choose and prepare all of your equipment. 1 hour
The second class we will begin brewing your selected Beer and set up the "must" for fermentation. 3 hours
In the third class we will "rack" the Beer and check on it's progress. 1 hour
The fourth and final class we will bottle the Beer and learn how to store it propely for aging. 2 hours
